Frequently Asked Questions

  • In your consultation appointment we go over what you are looking for in a therapist, what brings you to therapy, pricing, and scheduling.

  • It all starts with you and your goals for therapy. However, I typically meet with my clients weekly.

  • I provide a safe space for you to step into and share. However, recognizing a good fit starts with you and me. If either of us are not comfortable, I can support you and help you find someone that you might feel more comfortable.

  • In our consultation, we discuss payment. My policy is to secure payment- electronically (credit card, Zelle), upon completion of each session.

  • Therapy takes work and commitment. In creating a safe space for sharing, perhaps we can explore, reflect, and gain insights to support us in our lives moving forward.

  • Couples therapy creates a safe space for couples to come together (without distraction) and communicate feelings, hurts, longings, and wants. We align the couple’s goals and put in the hard work to reach those goals.

  • I encourage clients to consider emotional health similarly to physical health. Are we only supposed to see our doctor when we feel sick? No way! Well, emotional health has value too.
